ULTIMATE TOUCHLAMP copied from others 1

The touch lamps were originally made by Louis Comfort Tiffany who was a painter working in the 19th century.
He was admitted to the National Academy when he was 23 and was the youngest ever member. He started working with coloured glass in the 1870′s and made many stained glass windows for churches, often using flowers and plants in his designs.

One of the more interesting types is the touch lamp. While used for its functional feature, it is really enhancing the room decor, adding that vintage look that is so ‘chic’ nowadays..
Vintage objects always captivated the eyes of people and having a brass antique style piece to enhance the living room is a choice many people make particularly if they have brass objects already in the room, such as brass door handles to their doors and cabinets.

The style you will buy will contribute a little on the price that you will pay. Some lamps are designed and constructed so uniquely that it may drive up the price. On the other hand, a more simple looking lamp can be gotten for a fairly cheap price. There is country styled lamps, urban styled and many more types.
A great way to figure out what type will best fit your room is by checking out what is near by the place that the lamp will be. If it is a bit woodsy then a western lamp will fit in. Just observe and you will figure it out quickly as to what lamp would best fit your created environment.

Created by Louis Comfort Tiffany, these lamps can be used in any or every room of your home to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Tiffany loved the rich jewel colors of blood red and blues found in the Byzantium mosaics. He was able to find a way of adding the color to his glass (so it was actually in the glass) instead of having to paint it on at the end.
He began by using discarded glass pieces from stained glass panels to create unique designs. The Tiffany lampshades were then created by fitting hand cut glass pieces into copper foil enclosures. Since copper is very strong, he was able to design unusual and beautiful shades for his lamps.
